Effra Road is closed in both directions this afternoon as fire crews work to rescue a woman trapped in a car.
Bystanders say a motorbike, being chased by police, hit the car at about 4.15pm this afternoon, before the rider fled on foot.
It is reported that one woman is trapped inside the car.
Effra Road is closed, with all buses on diversion.
UPDATE: Effra Road was re-opened in both directions by 6pm.
